It’s coming into the winter and festive season now, but that doesn’t mean you have to stop enjoying fruity flavoured drinks. We’ve put together some aloe-inspired mocktails that will help you enjoy the rest of the sun, whilst also preparing you as you get back into the swing of September – October.
Many of the ingredients in the recipes below, including our very own Forever Aloe Berry Nectar, contain lots of vitamin C, which contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Getting back to work after the holidays can be tough, so make sure you’re prepared and treat yourself to one of these delicious drinks.
Berry Nectar Mojito
Serves 1
½ Lime
Several Mint leaves
50ml Forever Aloe Berry Nectar
150ml Cranberry Juice
Soda Water, to taste
Ice
Fresh Cranberries, for garnish
Method:
Cut one thin slice from the widest section of your lime. Then squeeze the juice from the rest of the half into a small jug. Add the mint leaves and a small amount of Forever Aloe Berry Nectar to the jug and muddle together. A good way to do this is to use the end of a rolling pin. Pour this mixture into a tall glass.
Add a handful of ice to the glass and pour over the remaining Forever Aloe Berry Nectar and the cranberry juice. Mix carefully with a spoon.
Top up with soda water, then serve with fresh cranberries and your lime slice on the side of the glass.
